National Weather Service to rehire positions cut by DOGE, but hurricane coverage uncertain

The National Weather Service is set to rehire thousands of positions that were cut by DOGE, however, they may not be back in time for this hurricane season. NBC News' Chase Cain spoke with scientists on their concerns of how staff shortages will affect this hurricane season.
