HAWKINS, Texas (KETK) - Jarvis Christian University is preparing for students to return to campus next week by hosting their ‘Welcome Back Weekend’, making sure they are fully enrolled and ready for day one.

Jarvis Christian University was founded in 1912 and currently has about 600 students.

“This is an exciting time for us to begin as we start our new semester for the year," Jarvis University vice president for enrollment Dr. Darrin Q. Rankin said. "This is our peak enrollment period at the beginning of the semester where all of the new freshmen come in and all of the returning students return.”

Throughout the weekend, students can enroll for classes, get their financial aid questions answered and get their dorm key all in one place.
