MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) -- One of the most successful programs in the Tri-State over the past two season, Owensboro Catholic, is looking to reload once against this season.

"Obviously, we have a new leader at quarterback," head coach Jason Morris said. "He's very special in Dre'mail Carothers."

The Aces haven't lost a regular season game since September of 2022, but now the Aces enter a new era.

"He's been doing an amazing job," senior running back Miles Edge said. "He's been an amazing leader as a junior. He's been very vocal, a great passer, and he always keeps his chin up."

But it's hard not to be vocal about who came before Carothers, the career touchdown record holder in the state of Kentucky Brady Atwell. That doesn't seem to phase the new QB1
