WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The 28-year-old suspect arrested in connection with a double homicide at Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas reportedly applied to work at multiple area school districts, according to new statements from school officials.
Andrew McGann is accused of killing Clinton and Cristen Brink while they were hiking with their young daughters on July 26.
Shortly after his arrest, Springdale Public Schools (SPS) announced that McGann had been hired as a teacher for the 2025-26 school year but had not officially begun working there.
