TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One person has been arrested after a woman was shot and killed in Talladega County earlier this week.

According to officials, authorities received a call from the brother of Jennifer Kay Vree Ingram around 1:20 p.m. Monday, August 4 after he found her in a mobile home in the 100 block of Country Lane in Eastaboga.

Authorities say she had been shot and killed either late in the night Sunday, August 3 or in the early hours of Monday, August 4.

According to court documents, 36-year-old James Justin Watts Hayes was arrested in the case. His bond was revoked since he was previously convicted of a prior violent offense.
