NEWTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard said on Friday that a man has been arrested after an incident involving a relative.
Havard said that at 2:30 p.m. Friday, dispatchers received a 911 call from a resident in the 200 block of Wildwood Drive in the Toldeo Village community. The caller said that Logan Paul Anderson had thrown a full gas can onto the roof of the house, and was threatening to burn the house down with the residents inside.
Newton County deputies responded and Toledo Bend VFD was placed on standby. A Newton County deputy and a Texas game warden arrived at the scene and began talking with Anderson. They were able to place him under arrest, and he was taken to the Newton County Jail.
