LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Las Vegas FBI have fired Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans, according to his attorney in a post on X.
Attorney Mark Zaid shared a statement Friday claiming the FBI and Department of Justice have “betrayed law enforcement and all ethical ideals that govern the civil service system.”
After 21 years of service, Spencer Evans was allegedly let go under false pretense.
Attorney Zaid says the FBI Director Kash Patel testified under oath that there would not be punishment against individuals due to politicized influence.
“The purge of the dedicated, patriotic FBI officials like Special Agent Evans is an absolute disgraceful moment in history,” said Washington, DC attorney Mark Zaid representing Evans.
