GREENE COUNTY, Indiana — Police say one person is dead and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Greene County.
A sheriff's department spokesperson said it happened on State Road 45 around 2:40 p.m. The report said the collision took place around the 27-mile marker, but did not specify the name of a corresponding intersection.
The spokesperson said a Chrysler minivan going north on the highway collided with a southbound Ford F-450.
The driver of the van, 41-year-old William Brand of Bedford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was treated at a Bloomington hospital for injuries. A condition was not reported.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the spokesperson.
