Homes Under The Hammer's Martin Roberts has issued a warning to potential buyers prompted by the sale of a two-bedroom maisonette. In a repeat episode aired on BBC One on Wednesday, August 6, the property expert, who has been a fixture on the show since its inception in 2003, struggled to find any faults with the ground-floor flat, conveniently located near the mainline railway station.

According to Martin, the flat had plenty of character and only needed simple upgrades to increase its appeal. With a starting price of over £95,000, Martin was left scratching his head, asking, "What's the catch?"
