Students to the Early Childhood Learning Center recently had a chance to have their eyesight tested by Lions Club members.

The Brenham Evening Lions Club and the Washington County Ladies Lions Club hosted an eyesight testing event at the ECLC in July.

The clubs joined forces to purchase the Sight First testing unit. Members who are state certified can test even the youngest eyesight.

Lions KidSight USA is a nationwide program that brings Lions clubs across the country together to ensure children receive eye screenings and followup care when needed. One in three young children have poor but correctable vision, often just needing eyeglasses.
