Wednesday season 2 has hit Netflix and it’s full of eerie atmosphere!

Although the first season of the Netflix series was filmed in Romania, the second season had a change of scenery. In 2024, the Netflix series moved production to Ireland in what Variety reports was a massive milestone for Ireland’s television and film industry.

Netflix used real-life locations around Ireland to capture Wednesday ‘s gothic architecture and creepy vibe.

One of the main filming locations for season 2 of Wednesday was Ashford Studios. According to PEOPLE , Netflix added a massive 170,000 square feet of new filming space to the studio. Many of the scenes at Nevermore Academy were filmed in the large studio.

Other Nevermore Academy scenes were filmed at Charleville Castle in County Offal
