Baja Governor’s approval drops 21 points in nine months, poll shows
Three months into her fourth year in office, Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has seen her public approval rating plummet by 21 percentage points, according to the latest data from PluralMx.
The polling firm reported that Ávila’s approval stood at 60% in November but has now fallen to 39% this August. The survey found that 44% of respondents disapprove of her work, while 17% remain indifferent.
When asked about their main achievements, 28% of participants cited education, 15% pointed to combating poverty, and 14% mentioned public works. However, 26% said they either did not know or had no opinion. On the other end, the areas seen as her least significant accomplishments were public securi
