In the wake of the LaDamion Guyton commitment to the Texas Tech football program on Thursday, Aug. 8, Darren Heitner tweeted the following:

Guyton's a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive edge player from Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia, who'd be welcome at any football factory. On the 247Sports composite index, he's rated the No. 2 prospect in the country for the 2027 recruiting class. Rivals has him No. 1.
