Wembley Stadium officials have launched an investigation into allegations that hundreds of Oasis fans were smuggled into one of the band’s recent reunion shows without a ticket.

The Mancunian rock icons, currently on their Live 25 tour, played a string of sold-out dates at the London venue between July 25 andAugust 3 – their first appearances there since 2009.

But reports have now emerged that up to 200 people gained entry to at least one show by paying £350 each to bypass normal ticket checks.

According to The Sun, two women allegedly orchestrated the scam, using a disabled entrance to smuggle in large groups. Two concertgoers told the paper they were part of a crowd all carrying identical tickets.

They said the organisers claimed to have ‘ten groups of 20’ waiting to get inside.
