Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted on the London Underground . Police say their suspect struck aboard a Jubilee line train just before midnight on Monday, June 9.
The victim boarded at North Greenwich and sat next to a man. He then attempted to start a conversation before violating her at some point during the 20-minute journey.
Both passengers alighted at Baker Street, where the man approached the woman again. He eventually left the station and is yet to be tracked down.
The British Transport Police (BTP) has now released a CCTV image in the hopes someone can identify a person of interest. The footage shows an Asian man with short black hair.
He is wearing a beige top, black shirt or jacket and a pair of headphones. A BTP statement reads: "
