The Bristol pub that feels 'country' even though it's next to the M4

These are dire days for hospitality with figures out this week revealing that bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs are closing at a rate of two every day and 1,122 venues have shut since Rachel Reeves’s Budget last October.

Not that you would know it after a couple of hours holed up at The White Horse at Hambrook, which was doing a roaring trade early on a Saturday afternoon.
