Toronto-based Wealthsimple is offering investors a chance to earn up to 2% back on qualifying transfers through its Summer Margin Match 2025 promotion.

The deal is open to both new and existing clients who register for the offer through the Wealthsimple app, website, or via an invitation . Once registered, participants have 30 days to move at least $25,000 in eligible assets into a Wealthsimple Self-directed Investing, Managed Investing, or Crypto account.

Transfers from cash deposits, e-Transfers, or internal Wealthsimple accounts won’t count. Most institutional transfers are eligible.

The promotion pays: • 2% match for non-registered accounts with margin enabled and an existing margin debit balance of at least $10,000 that was created before Aug. 5, 2025. • 1% match for all other
