Pete Davidson wasn’t feeling the love from the audience at the “Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special.”
During a Wednesday, August 6, appearance on “Late Night With Seth Myers,” Davidson, 31, told his fellow “SNL” alum Myers, 51, that the crowd was unenthusiastic.
“Well, as you know from ‘SNL40,’ terrible audience,” Davidson said. “It’s a terrible audience. It’s just famous people, and famous people only like themselves.”
The comedian then admitted that he’s also “guilty” of only liking himself, and Myers quipped that he’d laughed at his own pre-taped sketch at the anniversary show.
“I remember, when the pre-tape was playing, you were the only one laughing,” Meyers joked. “We were like, ‘Oh, he’s coming in way too hot.’”
