SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) -- The Syracuse Mets went down 1-0 in the beginning on Friday's game against the Knights, but fought back to take the commanding 9-5 win. Syracuse put up eight runs in two innings to surge ahead with Rafael Ortega finishing the night with 3 RBI. Gilberto Celestino and Pablo Reyes also shined with two RBI each. Luis De Los Santos capped the night off with a solo homer in the eighth inning.
On the mound, Major League rehabber Paul Blackburn pitched five and two-thirds innings and allowed two earned runs. Syracuse continues its six-game series with Charlotte on Saturday night with game five. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
