The Yankees made a highly-publicized flurry of moves in advance of July 31st’s trade deadline, beefing up their bullpen and adding a few key position players as they attempt to end a skid that’s dropped them to the fringes of the postseason picture. In addition to augmenting their MLB roster, some of those moves quietly allowed the Yankees to build depth on their Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre squad, a key development considering it will be difficult, if not impossible, to add any impact players externally in the event of an injury now that the pencils are down. Catcher
The catcher position experienced far and away the most flux at the minor-league level as a resu
