HAMBURG, N.Y. — The first weekend of the Erie County Fair is here , and to celebrate, the fair is offering a special flash discount on admission.

Today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy the fair for just $7.16. To take advantage of the offer, you must purchase tickets at the gate, and they can be bought by credit or debit card.

Admission for kids 12 and under is still free, although children must be accompanied by an adult for entry.

"The Erie County Fair is a beloved tradition in Western New York, and this promotion is our way of celebrating the people who make our region so special," said Jessica Underberg, CEO of the Erie County Agricultural Society.
