Centenary Memorial Methodist Church will celebrate its 75th annual Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Richard Edens of Chapel Hill will deliver the message and music will be provided by Jane Hale and her daughter, Lisa Packer. The group, “Band Recovery” will also perform special music prior to the service beginning at 10:30 so please plan to arrive early. Bring a chair and your favorite dish for the picnic immediately following the worship service. Everyone is welcome! Centenary is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is located at 2585 N.C. Highway 130 East, Rowland.
