Vernon Township - A fatal crash took place Friday evening, sending one Kinsman man to the hospital, where he later died.

Raphael Klemencic, 69, was driving eastbound on State Route 5 in Vernon Township near the intersection of Busnell Campbell Road when he drove off the north side of the highway.

Klemencic's 2019 Ford Escape struck a tree and flipped over.

According to the press release, Johnstown Township Fire and EMS were dispatched at 8:08 p.m. to his location and took Klemencic to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation.
