Frank Lampard has made it clear that Coventry City still have work to do in the transfer market this summer.

The Sky Blues kicked off the 2025/26 Championship campaign with a 0-0 draw at home against Hull City.

Coventry were denied the chance of earning promotion last season in the play-offs with defeat against Sunderland .

The Black Cats then beat Sheffield United to seal their place in the Premier League.

Lampard and co are looking to go one step further this year, but the transfer window hasn’t been quite as busy as he would have liked.

There have only been three first-team arrivals so far with Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Miguel Angel Brau and Carl Rushworth coming in.

Meanwhile, Luis Binks, Jamie Paterson, Jack Burroughs, Fabio Tavares and Ryan Howley have all left.
