A shooting in Montgomery took a life Friday evening.

At 5:51 p.m. on Aug. 8, police responded to a call about people shot in the 3000 block of Woodley Road, said Corporal James Dozier, a spokesperson for the Montgomery Police Department.

On the scene, police found two male victims, whose names have not been released, suffering from life-threatening gunshots wounds, Dozier said.

Dozier said after being taken to a local hospital for treatment, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Police said the investigation continues and did not release any other information about the shooting.
