The BC Conservation Officer Service (COS) is putting out a warning for anyone venturing out into the back country after a man was attacked by a cougar while mountain biking in Garibaldi Provincial Park.

The attack happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the Alpine Capone trail near Brahm Ridge after a cougar started following him, the COS says.
