FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - Officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department are honoring the dedication, loyalty, and courage of one of their retired K9s who recently passed away.

"We are saddened to report the passing of retired dual-purpose FDLPD K9 Ronny," the Department stated in a Facebook post on the morning of August 9.

K9 Ronny was born in Spain and in 2014 was brought to Campbellsport, where he was trained at Steinig Tal Kennels.
