Wrexham could be without Kieffer Moore for a lengthy period after he suffered an ankle injury in their opening weekend defeat.

The Welsh outfit marked their return to the second tier of English football with a 2-1 loss away at Southampton .

Josh Windass put Wrexham ahead with a penalty, but Ryan Manning and Jack Stephens scored late on to complete the turnaround.

Moore made his debut for the visitors after signing from Sheffield United for around £2million earlier in the week.

However, he may be set for a spell on the sidelines before he makes his second appearance having gone off injured with 54 minutes played.
