The Los Angeles Dodgers have been crushed with injuries this season, but it seems like there's finally light at the end of the tunnel.
As the season winds down, there are more than a handful of Dodgers pitchers, including Roki Sasaki and Tanner Scott, who are preparing for their return to the big league roster at the perfect time. But these returns will mean some players on the roster would have to go.
Sam Phalen of Dodgers Way recently predicted the Dodgers would shut down or option Ben Casparius as the injured pitchers begin to return to the big league roster.
"Ben Casparius was such a pleasant surprise at the beginning of the year," Phalen wrote. "He's thrown some big innings for the Dodgers this season and helped them tread water, but the 26-year-old right-handed pitcher is fading
