UPDATE: New details are emerging from the murder at the Motel 6 parking lot Friday night.

The shooting suspect, Guster Harfield, was with a woman during the incident, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.

Video surveillance footage captured the pair pull up in a black Cadillac, park and then approach two different rooms. The woman reportedly knocked on one door, then when there was no response, moved on to the next one.

After knocking, the 43-year-old man answered and stepped out. Harfield stepped out from where he had been hiding and shot at the man multiple times, police say.

The victim ran, but the suspect ultimately gunned him down. Police did not confirm if the two men were connected, nor did they identify the victim.
