BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU freshman running back JT Lindsey has been suspended from all football activities .

Lindsey, a former four-star recruit, is accused of accessory after the fact to second-degree murder. Investigators said he allowed two men wanted in connection to a deadly May shooting to stay in his dorm room.

, his attorney said Lindsey maintains he's innocent and didn't know the pair were suspects or being sought by police when he let them stay.

LSU confirmed it's aware of the arrest but declined further comment, citing the ongoing legal process.
