GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A man was shot and killed, and a person was detained after a dispute at a Gwinnett County home on Friday evening, according to the police department.

The incident happened at the home located in the 3900 block of Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville around 7 p.m.

Police said they received a call that a dispute had led up to the shooting.

When officers arrived at the home, they found a man who had been shot. Gwinnett County Fire Rescue took the man to the hospital, where he later died.

Gwinnett County Police said its department is interviewing the person who was detained at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the motive of the shooting. Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Tevin Hood of Snellville.
