ATLANTA — A pursuit in Rockdale County ended with the fleeing driver crashing into two other vehicles Monday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The agency said around 1:25 p.m. on Monday, a trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on Sigman Road on a gold Ford Crown Victoria. The driver was allegedly following too closely on a vehicle. The 40-year-old driver -- and sole occupant of the car -- took off and didn't stop, which initiated a pursuit, GSP said.

According to troopers, the fleeing driver didn't stop at a red light at the intersection of Sigman Road and Rockbridge Road. He's accused of crashing into a white F-150. Troopers said the truck rolled over and landed on its roof.
