Former MSU golfer Brooke Biermann punches her ticket to the finals at U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship

BANDON, Oreg. (WILX) - Former Michigan State women’s golfer Brooke Biermann punched her ticket to the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship finals with a victory in the semifinals.

Biermann won as the No. 41 overall seed, taking down No. 4 seed Lyla Louderbaugh in 19 holes on Saturday afternoon at Brandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon.

Biermann will now face No. 11 seed Megha Ganne in the finals.
