HELENA, M.T. (KUMV) - Montana residents can apply for a property tax rebate starting August 15.

Each person could receive up to $400 back for primary residence property taxes paid in 2024. To qualify, taxpayers need to have owned and lived in the home for at least seven months in 2024.

The application window opens on August 15 and closes October 1.
