Heriot’s will represent East of Scotland cricket in the national final of the Murgitroyd T20 tournament at Stirling on Sunday, 10 August.

After seeing off the challenge of Carlton in the semi-final the Goldenacre team followed up a few hours later by defeating RH Corstorphine by 28 runs.

Heriot’s last won the Masterton Trophy in 2022 and victory in the Stirling finals would be expected to earn them a place in the European finals held annually near Malaga, Spain.

The regional T20 qualifier win on their home ground complemented outstanding form in the Eastern Premiership extended 50 over format where, after 12 of the 18 fixtures, they led the way having suffered a mere one defeat.
