CLIFTON -- A golf cart crash in Clifton sent three people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Crews responded the area of 220 Hopkins Pond Road around 3:30 p.m.
According to the Eddington Fire Department, a golf cart carrying six people crashed. They say no other vehicles were involved.
"We were dispatched to a report of an accident involving a golf cart. That's a private camp dirt road. We arrived and found multiple patients," explained Deputy Chief Craig Russell.
Craig says three people were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries while the other three individuals were not in need of transport.
Authorities say a cause for the crash is currently unknown.
