Another game, another double-digit scoring day for Missouri women’s basketball alum Sophie Cunningham.
The Columbia local and Mizzou grad scored 16 points, helping the Indiana Fever break their short losing streak with a 92-70 win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday night in Indianapolis.
Cunningham shot 5-of-10 from the field and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line as she scored in double digits for the 10th time in her past 13 games. The former Rock Bridge High star was 3-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.
She also had three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a turnover in the win. She recorded an +18 plus/minus during her 28 minutes on the floor.
