YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Police Department has requested that the public avoid the area around East Walnut Avenue and South 3rd Street, specifically from 1st Street to 4th Street.

This request comes in light of a patrol incident in the area. However, police have not yet released any detailed information about the nature of the incident.
