Sacramento State hosted the second annual Josh’s Heart Homeless Connect at the alumni center, offering a “day of service and rest” for people experiencing homelessness. The event, created in honor of Joshua Moore — who battled alcohol addiction and homelessness for a decade before his death — provided haircuts, showers, clothing, hot meals, toiletries, and other essentials. Organized by Moore’s parents, Don and Dawn Nahhas, the program aims to give back to the Sacramento community while keeping his compassionate legacy alive.
