NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP — Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools across Pennsylvania recently worked together to raise more than $26,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national childhood cancer foundation dedicated to funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. To raise money for the organization, campers sold lemonade and various treats to their fellow campers, families, staff and teachers.

This year’s fundraising efforts were especially meaningful as Chesterbrook Academy celebrates its 40th anniversary.

For four decades, the school has been dedicated to educating and nurturing young minds, while also instilling the importance of kindness, empathy and community involvement.
