CHICO, Calif. — A new museum dedicated to clocks, watches, and other antiques will open in Chico this Saturday, offering visitors a glimpse into both world history and the city’s own horological past.

The Clock and Watch Museum, located inside the Garden Walk, is an extension of Father Time, a clock repair shop that has operated in the same spot for 30 years. Entry will be free, and many of the pieces on display will also be available for purchase.

Grandfather clocks, mantel clocks, cuckoo clocks, mystery clocks, and wall clocks will line the museum’s walls, along with swords, antique beer mugs, smoking pipes, lanterns, and music boxes.
