Detectives investigating the murder of a man found on a bench near a canal towpath have made a third arrest.
Robert Brown, 57, was found fatally injured on a bench behind Auctioneers Court, near the River Nene in Northampton, after officers were called around 6.30am on August 1.
A 32-year-old man from Northampton was arrested by officers this morning, Sunday, August 10.
A 41-year-old man from Northampton was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday evening and released on bail on Saturday evening, pending further investigation.
A 38-year-old man arrested in connection with murder on Wednesday, August 6, has also been released on police bail pending further investigation.
