Three men have been arrested after a woman was found dead in Smethwick on Monday morning (August 11).

Shara Miller, aged 41, was found off Woodbourn Road just after 6.10am. Nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.

West Midlands Police say her loved ones are being supported by specially trained officers and their thoughts are with them at this time.

Three men, aged 29, 38 and 31 have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody for questioning.

The police believe Shara was killed in the early hours of the morning at the location where her body was discovered.

They are asking the public for any information surrounding her movements before 1am.
