1925: “Sunnyside,” the new subdivision of Flagstaff, has been opened for sale of home sites by Alf Dickinson & Son, local realty men and proprietors of the Pine hotel, and it is expected that before many months have passed many of the sites will have been disposed of to prospective home builders. “Sunnyside” comprises the 160 acres in the ranch formerly owned by L.E. Johnson, on the National Old Trails highway, a mile and a quarter east of the city limits. Several blocks, with 60-foot streets and 50-foot avenues, the latter running east and west, have been surveyed and staked by (the) city engineer. Each of the plots is 50x142 feet.
