A 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Hopkins High School was marred by fighting Saturday night. According to Hopkins police, the "large crowd and fighting" led to a dispersal order being issued through a public alert.

"A small group of individuals began fighting in the crowd, and Mace was used. One person requested medical attention due to Mace," a spokesperson from Hopkins PD said.

The alert sent to cellphones said: "Hopkins PD asking everyone gathered at Hopkins High School to disperse and leave the area due to large crowd and fighting."
