SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The construction for the Sunshine Street Bridge in Springfield started earlier this week and has affected local restaurants and businesses.
Located on West Sunshine before the bridge closure, customers at Metro Eats food truck park can find everything from Venezuelan food to homemade kombucha and boba tea.
Luis Sulbaran owns Caracas House , a Venezuelan food truck located at Metro Eats, which is impacted by the bridge closure on West Sunshine.
“The construction just started like a week ago, so it has been a little more slow than usual, but we’re still getting our usual customers, and we appreciate them because we’re still in business,” Sulbaran said.
