An 18-year-old Manhattan man has been arrested and charged in connection with a violent robbery that occurred aboard a subway train earlier this week, the NYPD announced Saturday.

Brandon Balfour, of the 300th block of West 38th St., was taken into custody on Friday for the alleged robbery. He faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
