Mookie Betts will be the first to tell you he's in a slump offensively this season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
His version of a slump isn't as bad as what other players have endured, but it's still affecting every aspect of his game. Betts didn't hold back when asked if he could turn things around before the end of the season.
"This season's over," Betts told Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic . "My season's kind of over. We're going to have to chalk that up for not a great season. But I can go out and help the boys win every night, do something, get an RBI, make a play, do something that — I'm going to have to shift my focus there.
