Grab your sunscreen and sunglasses, Seattle, and try to stay cool. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for most of Western Washington until Tuesday evening.

Sunday is expected to have sunny skies with a high of 84, according to the weather service. The temperature forecast continues to rise on Monday and Tuesday, with highs of 86 and 87, respectively. Temps are predicted to drop later in the week with a high of 77 on Wednesday and a high of 73 on Thursday.

The advisory, in effect from 2 p.m. Sunday to 10 p.m. Tuesday, includes Seattle, parts of King and Snohomish counties, Tacoma and Bellingham.

“Hot conditions with high temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s and low temperatures in the 60s,” the advisory reads. “This will pose a moderate risk of heat-related illness.”
